Ingredients of Gulab Jamun Lamington
- You need 1 cup of gulab jamun mix powder.
- Make ready 1 tbsp of milk (or as required).
- Prepare 1 cup of Sugar.
- Make ready 1.25 cup of water.
- Make ready 3-4 of cardamons.
- Make ready 100 gm of cooking chocolate.
- Prepare 1 tbsp of Desiccated coconut.
- Make ready As needed of Oil/Ghee for frying.
Gulab Jamun Lamington instructions
- Knead gulab jamun mix powder (I prefer MTR) by adding milk spoon by spoon. You can even use water, but milk gives you better results. Apply ghee/oil on your palm and take a small small portion of dough and make a round ball like shape jamuns.
- Mean while mix water and sugar with cardamon in it and bring it to boil.. keep it on stove for 10 mins on medium flame and turn it off..
- Deep fry jamuns on a low flame till it's golden brown..
- Put jamuns into a hot sugar syrup and let it absorb it. Let it cool..
- Melt chocolate on a double boiler..
- Place jamuns on a grill, pour melted chocolate over it. Sprinkle desiccated coconut over it..
- Delicious gulab jamun lamington is ready to serve. You can serve at room temperature or chilled too…
