Ingredients of Booyah Chicken
- Take 2 lb of chicken pieces.
- Make ready 2 lb of beef stew meat.
- Make ready 2 lb of pork roast.
- Make ready 3 cup of chicken broth.
- Make ready 3 clove of garlic, whole.
- Prepare 1 of bay leaf.
- Make ready 7 cup of or enough water to cover.
- Make ready 1 tbsp of vegetable oil.
- Make ready 1 cup of diced onion.
- Make ready 1 cup of diced carrots.
- You need 1 cup of diced celery.
- It’s 1 clove of minced garlic.
- Take 3 of potatoes, peeled and diced.
- You need 3/4 tsp of salt.
- It’s 1/2 tsp of dried rosemary.
- Make ready 1/4 tsp of black pepper.
- Prepare 1/2 tsp of dried thyme.
- Make ready 1/4 tsp of crushed red pepper.
- Take 3/4 tsp of lemon zest.
- Make ready 1 can of green beans, drained, about (15 oz.) can.
- It’s 1 can of peas, drained, about (15 oz.) can.
- Take 1 can of corn, drained about(15 oz.) can.
- Prepare 1/2 head of green cabbage.
- Take 1 can of diced tomatoes, about (15 oz.) can.
Booyah Chicken step by step
- Place chicken, beef, and pork in big pot. Add 3 cloves of garlic. Also add chicken broth and and bay leaf, and enough water to cover meat. Bring to boil, cover and turn down to simmer. Simmer 2 hours.
- Salute onions, carrots, and celery in vegetable oil..
- Take meat out and cut into bite size. Place back into broth. Add salute vegetables and potatoes, and cabbage.
- Add all spices bring back to boil, then down to simmer and simmer 10 to 15 minutes, until potatoes and cabbage is tender.
- Add drained canned vegetables and cook until heated through..
- I forgot to get parsley but one recipe had 1/2 cup chopped parsley at end of cooking.
