Ingredients of Kalakand

  1. Prepare 1/2 ltr of milk.
  2. You need 1/2 tbsp of ghee.
  3. Take 1 tbsp of sugar.
  4. Take 1 cup of cottage cheese (paneer) (crumbled).
  5. You need 1/2 tsp of green cardamom powder.
  6. Take of Few chopped pistachio, almond, cashews.
  7. It’s of Saffron (optional).
  8. It’s of Condensed milk (optional).
  9. It’s of Rose water (optional).

  1. Firstly greased the plate or tin set aside..
  2. Take a heavy bottomed pan or kadai..

  4. Now add milk stir well 10-12 minutes add sugar keep stirring on medium heat constantly "if u using condensed milk now this stage add 1 tbsp condensed milk" stir well till the milk mixture thick consistency..
  5. When the kalakand mixture start thickening switch off heat add cardamom powder stir well..
  6. Now pour the kalakand mixture into the prepared greased plate..
  7. Sprinkle crushed or sliced nuts all over kalakand gently press the dry fruits with a spoon..
  8. Cover and allow the kalakand to become cool completely. "Refrigerate for 1-2 hour".
  9. Slice the kalakand with ur choice and serve as a sweet or enjoy with spoon as a dessert..
