  11. Prepare as needed of Salt.
  12. Take as needed of Oil.
  13. Take as needed of Water.

Lauki gosht (shorbay wala) step by step

  1. Take a pressure cooker and heat oil in that.
  2. Add thinly sliced onions and sautay till light goldn.
  3. Add ginger garlic paste and sautay.
  4. Add chopped tomatoes along with salt, red chilli powder, coriander powder and Turmeric powder and mix.
  5. Cover and cook for 5 minutes to let tomatoes soften.
  6. Mix till all masala become homogeneous.
  7. Add meat and mix with masala till 5 more minutes.
  8. Add water and cook till meat become 80% tender.
  9. Dry out water and mix till oil seperated from masala and meat..
  10. Add water again and add bottle guard pieces and cook till pieces become soft..
  11. Sprinkle fresh coriander and whole spice powder on top and keep on simmer for 5 minutes after covering lid.
  12. Turn off flame and dish out for serving (you can adjust ingredients according to your taste).
