  1. Make ready 1 cup of all purpose flour.
  2. Prepare 2 teaspoon of baking powder.
  3. Prepare 3 tbsp of cocoa powder.
  4. Make ready 3/4 cup of sugar.
  5. Prepare 2 of eggs.
  6. You need 1/2 cup of milk.
  7. Prepare 60 gm of soft unsalted butter.
  8. It’s 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
  9. It’s 1/4 teaspoon of salt.

  11. Prepare 100 g of dark chocolate chopped.
  12. Make ready 1/3 cup of heavy cream.

Microwave Chocolate Sponge Cake with Dark Chocolate Glaze instructions

  1. Sieve baking powder, flour, cocoa powder and salt in a bowl.
  2. Mix well and keep it aside.
  3. In a bowl whisk butter and sugar for 4-5 minutes.
  4. Add eggs, 1 at a time and whisk until frothy.
  5. Add milk and vanilla extract, whisk well.
  6. Gradually add dry ingredients and whisk untill well combined.
  7. Batter is ready.
  8. Grease loaf pan and dust with flour.
  9. Pour batter into prepared pan. Level evenly. Microwave on high for 5-7 minutes until done.
  10. Allow to cool for 15 minutes. Demould and cool.
  11. Warm cream in a pan, pour over dark chocolate in a bowl. Rest for 30 second. Mix until chocolate is completely melted.
  12. Pour Glaze over cake all over. Decorate with nuts etc if required. Slice and serve at room temperature.
