Ingredients of Gujarati Khandvi
- You need 1 cup of Besan.
- You need 1 cup of Sour Curd.
- Make ready 2 cup of Water.
- It’s 1/4 tsp of Turmeric Powder.
- Take Pinch of Asafoetida.
- Make ready of Salt as per taste.
- It’s 1 tsp of Chilli Ginger paste.
Gujarati Khandvi step by step
- In a bowl, take curd and add water to make buttermilk. Now slowly add besan in batches and mix to get a lumpfree batter..
- Now add turmeric powder, asafoetida, ginger chilli paste & salt as per taste & mix..
- Heat a pan, pour the batter and mix. Cook for 10 minutes and stir continuously to get a thick batter..
- Now immediately pour a ladleful of batter on a greased plate and spread thin. Let it cool for 2 minutes and make cut with help of knife..
- Now start rolling the Khandvi as per your choice. Now for tempering, take some oil, add mustard seeds, sesame seeds & curry leaves. Garnish with coriander leaves and grated fresh coconut..
