Take out the lid,whisk it to make dal more smoother,add salt, tamarind pulp, and add enough water(,dal should be thick not watery)..keep it on medium flame to boil, For tadka/tempering take a small pan add in ghee add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, red chillies and curry leaves saute it for 2-3 minutes..when it starts to splutter add thadka/tempering to the dal mix well..your delicious tomato pappu is ready…
