Ingredients of Nawabi Dal/ Sultani Dal
- Make ready 1 cup of toor dal.
- You need 1 tsp of termaric powder.
- Prepare as per taste of salt.
- It’s 1/2 cup of onion.
- Prepare 2 of red chillies.
- Take 2 of green chillies.
- It’s 1 tsp of red chilli powder.
- Make ready 1 tsp of jeera.
- You need 1 tsp of garlic chopped.
- Make ready 1 tsp of ginger chopped.
- You need 3-4 tsp of yogurt.
- Take 2 tsp of cream.
- It’s 1/2 cup of milk.
- Make ready 1/2 cup of chopped coriander leaves (optional).
Nawabi Dal/ Sultani Dal step by step
- Wash dal properly and add it in a pressure cooker along with salt, turmeric powder and 2 cups of water..
- Remove the dal from heat and let the pressure release. Once the pressure release, open the lid of the cooker and add milk in the dal. Add yogurt and cream and mix well.
- Heat ghee in an another pan.put jeera,ginger garlic paste and green chillies and fry for 2 seconds.
- Add onion and red chilli and fry for another 30 seconds.
- Switch off the gas and add red chilli. Now add this tadka into daal and mix it well. Cook for another 30seconds. serve with roti or rice..
