Ingredients of Mixed Dal Handvo
- Take 1/2 cup of tuvardal.
- It’s 1 tbsp of green moong dal.
- You need 1 tbsp of urad dal.
- Prepare 2 tbsp of chana dal.
- Take 1/2 tbsp of rice.
- You need 1/2 cup of grated doodhi.
- You need 1/4 cup of curd (khatta).
- Take 2 tbsp of oil.
- Make ready 1 tbsp of lemon juice.
- You need Pinch of soda.
- You need 1 tbsp of sugar.
- Prepare 1/2 tbsp of chilli powder.
- Make ready 1/4 tbsp of haldi powder.
- You need 1 tbsp of Mirchi paste.
- Make ready to taste of Salt.
- You need 1 tbsp of mustard seeds.
- You need 1/2 tbsp of Til.
- You need 1/4 tbsp of hing.

- Prepare As required of green chutney.
Mixed Dal Handvo instructions
- Clean, wash and soak the deals, rice in enough water for 5-6 hours..
- Drain and keep aside in a jar blend the deals,rice to a smooth paste..
- Transfer the mixture in to a bowl, add dahi and mix well. Cover the lid and keep aside to for ferment 6-8 hours..
- Add Dudhi, oil, lemon juice, sugar, soda, chilli powder, haldi powder and chilli paste, salt and mix well..
- Heat oil in a pan add the mustard seeds, til, hing and saute for few seconds..
- Pour the batter evenly to make a thick layer..
- Cover with a lid and cook on a low flame to 7-8 minutes, when the base turns golden brown in colour and crisp..
- Lift the handvo using a large spoon and turn it over to the other sides..
- Cover and cook on a low flame for 5-8 minutes..
- Cool slightly and cut into squares pieces..
- Serve the handvo with green chutney..
