Ingredients of Kothimbir vadi

  1. Make ready 1 cup of gram flour(besan).
  2. Make ready of Rice flour-2tbsp.
  3. It’s 1 cup of curd.
  4. Prepare 1 tbsp of Ginger garlic green chilli paste.
  5. Make ready 1 cups of finely chopped green coriander leaves.
  6. Prepare 1 teaspoon of mustard seeds.
  7. You need 1 of teasoon cumin seeds.
  8. You need 1/2 teaspoon of asafotida.
  9. Make ready 1 tbsp of seasame seeds.
  10. Make ready 1 teaspoon of red chilli powder.
  11. Prepare 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric powder.
  12. Take 1/2 teaspoon of garam masala.
  13. Prepare of Salt to taste.
  14. It’s of Oil for frying.

Kothimbir vadi step by step

  1. Take gram flour in a bowl.add rice flour,curd and water and whisk well…
  2. Now add green coriander and if consistency becomes too thick then add more water..
  3. Add ginger,garlic,green chillies paste,red chilly powder,turmeric powder,salt, garam masala,seasame seeds and mix well..
  4. Heat oil in a non stick pan,add mustard seeds cumin seed,asafotida and saute for a minute…
  5. Now add gram flour mixture,mix and cook till thick..transfer in a plate.
  6. Grease palms with some oil and spread the prepare d mixture..set aside to cool for 15 minutes…
  7. After 15 min cut into cubes…
  8. Heat oil in a kadai.deep fry the cubes till golden and crisp..drain on a absorbent paper..
  9. Serve hot..
