Yam balls with deeping sauce step by step

  1. Peel,wash, and cut yam…..in a clean pot add water,salt and yam, cook until the yam is tendered.
  2. When the yam is tendered smashed and set aside.
  3. In a sauce pan add 3 table spoon of oil, chopped onion, paste of scott bonnets and bell peppers,Maggi, chopped green onions and cook for atleast 10 mins to make sauce.
  4. Then add in the sauce to the smashed yam and mix everything untill well combined…then make small balls out of it depending on the shape you like and set aside.

  6. Then take your balls and add in egg and fry them in the oil untill slightly golden brown on each side.
