Ingredients of Rasam-Rasam without tuvar dal

  1. You need 1/4 of coconut.
  2. Take 1 tbsp of Tamarind.
  3. Make ready 2 tbsp of dalia.
  4. You need 4-5 of green chillies.
  5. You need 7-8 of curry leaves.
  6. It’s 3-4 of Dried red chillies.
  7. Make ready 1 tsp of cumin seeds.
  8. Make ready As per taste of salt.
  9. It’s 1 pc of ginger.
  10. You need 3 tbsp of Rasam powder.
  11. Take For of tadka–.
  12. It’s 1 tbsp of oil.
  13. Take 1/2 tsp of cumin seeds.
  14. Take 1/2 tsp of mustard seeds.
  15. You need 1 tsp of urad dal.
  16. Make ready 1/4 tsp of hing.
  17. Prepare 1-2 of red chillies.
  18. Prepare 1 of Lemon (optional).
  19. Prepare Few of Coriander leaves.

Rasam-Rasam without tuvar dal instructions

  1. Arrange all the ingredients..
  2. Grind all the ingredients in a mixer jar without water..
  3. Add 1/2 cup water and grind to a smooth paste..
  4. Transfer to a bowl and then add 3-4 cups water..
  5. Boil it on medium flame till 2-3 boils.squeeze lemon if needed..
  6. Heat oil and prepare tadka..
  7. Pour this to Rasam…add coriander leaves & enjoy with Rice or idli..
