Ingredients of Toor Dal

  1. Take 1/4 Cup (65gms) of Toor.
  2. Prepare 1/3 tbsp of Salt.
  3. Prepare 1/3 tbsp of Turmeric powder.
  4. Make ready 1/2 tbsp of Cumin seeds.
  5. Make ready 1/3 tbsp of Mustard seeds.
  6. Take 2 of Chopped garlic pods.
  7. Make ready 2 of Chopped green chilli or red chilli.

  9. Take 1 pinch of Hing(asafoetida).
  10. It’s 2 tablespoon of Chopped garlic.

  4. Heat a pan. Add 2 tbsp oil.once oil gets hot, add hing(asafoetida) and cumin seeds. Once cumin seeds get crackles add mustard seeds then add chopped garlic & green chilli..
  5. Now add cooked (boiled) dal to the pan. Temper it. Mix it well..
  6. Add some water as consistency you like.Boil the dal for 2-3 minutes.At last chopped coriander leaves.Turn off the flame..
