Ingredients of Paneer Kalimirch

  1. You need 4 of onions.
  2. Prepare 12 of garlic cloves.
  3. Make ready 2 inch of ginger or 1/2 Tsp paste.
  4. Take 15 of big size cashew nuts (soaked).
  5. You need 1/2 cup of Cream.
  6. Take 1 cup of Milk.
  7. You need 20 of black pepper balls.
  8. Make ready 3 of cloves.
  9. You need 1/2 of + 1/4 Tsp Black Pepper Powder.
  10. You need 1 Tsp of Salt.
  11. Make ready Handful of Fresh coriander.
  12. You need 300 grams of Cottage Cheese.
  13. You need 2 Tbsp of Ghee.
  14. Make ready 2 Tbsp of Butter.

Paneer Kalimirch step by step

  1. In a pan, heat ghee..
  2. Saute Onions, garlic, ginger, black pepper balls, cloves and cashews till light golden brown..
  3. Let it cool..
  4. Now grind in a mixer with little water to smooth fine paste..
  5. Now take same pan, add butter and put this paste in it..
  6. Simmer for a minute..
  7. Add fresh cream and milk in it..
  8. Mix very nicely at medium flame until smooth. Then turn to low flame..
  9. Add black pepper powder and salt. Mix..
  10. Simmer for 1 minute..
  11. Add fresh coriander 1/4th cup. Mix for 2 minutes at low flame with lid..
  12. After 2 minutes, switch off the gas. Garnish with more coriander. Gravy is ready..
  13. Now simply use raw paneer for this gravy or fry/roast it..
  14. Now to roast Cottage Cheese, we will prepare flavoured oil..
  15. Heat 1 Tbsp butter and add 5 pepper balls along with few chopped garlic in it. Cook for 1 minute. Switch off gas and Leave for 5 minutes..
  16. After 5 minutes, Use this butter to roast paneer lightly. This way you will flavour your cottage cheese without deep frying..
  17. Cooking tip: I usually use its garlic and black pepper in gravy by firstly treating the paneer and then making gravy. I am a garlic fan so love more garlic. You can choose to opt out for extra garlic..
  18. Add roasted cottage cheese in gravy and serve hot..
