  1. It’s 250 gm of bottle gourd.
  2. It’s 1/2 cup of 30 min soaked chana (gram)dal.
  3. Prepare 3 Tsp of oil.
  4. It’s 1 tsp of red chilli powder.
  5. Take to taste of salt.
  6. Make ready 1 tsp of dhaniya jeera (Coriander cumin)powder.
  7. It’s 1 tsp of Garam masala.
  8. It’s 1/2 tsp of haldi/Turmeric powder.
  9. Take 1/2 cup of water.
  10. Take 1 tsp of mustard seeds.
  11. Take pinch of hing/ asafoetida.

  1. Add oil in to the POT.Once hot, add mustard seeds,let them splutter.Next add minced ginger,green chilli, hing and curry leaves. Saute for 30 secs..
  2. Add bottle gourd and Soaked chana Dal. Mix it well..
  3. Add all dry masala and cook for 1 min..
  4. Then add 1/2 cup water and cook for 15 min in low flame..
  5. Ready for serve..
