Ingredients of Moong Dal Poori

  1. It’s 150 gms of Moong dal.
  2. Take 250 gms of Wheat flour.
  3. Take to taste of Salt.
  4. Prepare of as required Oil to fry.
  5. Make ready 2-3 tsp of Oil mix it before making dough.
  6. Take 1 tsp of Saunf (aniseed).
  7. Prepare 1 tsp of Akha dhaniYa (Coriander seeds) - Optional.
  8. Prepare 1 Pinch of hing (asafoetida).
  9. Prepare 1/2 tsp of Haldi (turmeric).
  10. Take 1 tsp of Red chilli powder.
  11. Prepare 1 tsp of Ginger paste.
  12. Prepare 1 tsp of Green chilli paste.
  13. You need 1-2 tsp of Green coriander.

Moong Dal Poori step by step

  1. Wash moong dal 3-4 times & soak it in water for 3-4 hours..
  2. Drain out the water from soaked dal. Add wheat flour & all other ingredients with oil. Mix it well..
  3. Then knead it to make a dough. Add water as needed..
  4. Divide the dough into small portions. Roll it to make a poori..
  5. Take a pan. Heat oil on medium flame. Slip the poori in oil press a little with a frying spoon. Then turn it to fry from another side till it turns golden brown..
  6. Remove the poori in a plate. Now fry next poori in the same way. Your crispy & tasty Moong dal poori's are ready to be served..
