- Prepare 1 Cup of Rice (Chawal) (100 Grams).
- You need 2 Bunches of Mint Leaves (Pudina Ke Patte).

- Take 1 of Finely Sliced Onion (Kati Pyaz) Big Size.
- You need 1 Tablespoon of Ginger Garlic Paste (Adrak Lasoon Paste).
- Prepare 1 Teaspoon of Black Cumin Seeds (Shahi Jeera).
- Make ready 50 Grams of Cashew Nuts (Kaju).
- Prepare 1/2 Teaspoon of Whole Spice Powder (Garam Masala).
- Take as per taste of Salt (Namak).
- You need 1/2 Teaspoon of Turmeric Powder (Haldi Powder).
- You need As Per Required of Oil.
Pudina Kaju Pulao instructions
- Wash and soak rice for 30 minutes before cooking..
- Add mint leaves and green chillies in a mixer jar. Make a fine paste and keep it aside..
- Heat oil in pressure cooker, once the oil is hot add the black cumin seeds and all it to splutter.
- Add finely sliced onion and cook till they become light brown..
- Now add ginger garlic paste and turmeric powder. Cook till the moisture from the paste gets evaporate..
- Add blended paste, mix and cook till oil gets separated from it.
- Now add whole spice powder and season with salt according to taste. Mix and cook for 2 minutes.
Add two cups of water, mix and cook till it comes to boiling..
- Drain and add soaked rice. Mix and cover the pressure cooker, cook till you get 3 whistles. Switch off the gas and allow the pressure gets subside..
- Now the dish is ready can be served with dahi raita.
